As a school wide reading incentive, we are reading The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies. The characters in the book compete to see who can sell the most lemonade. They donate all of their proceeds to the local animal shelter. We have chosen to follow suit. We will sell lemonade at fall fest on October 24th. Our proceeds will go to our local animal shelter. We are also collecting other items for the pets at the shelter. Please see the Pontiac Elementary School newsletter for items that the shelter needs. The students are excited about helping Kurt, a puppy that came out to visit last week, and his friends at the shelter. Thanks for your support with our endeavor!
