Click Clack Club

It's not too late to join the morning Click Clack Keyboarding Club.  Here is the link to form:

The club is for all 4th and 5th grade students.  We will take 3rd graders if there is space available.

The application process for the Choice Program will close this Friday, January 22, 2016.

Through the Choice Program families can apply for magnet programs throughout the district or apply for Expanded Choice, which allows students to attend a school in the district that is not their zoned school.

Additional information on the Choice Program is available on our district's website. From our home page, click on the Choice Program link in the upper right corner to access the Choice Program Web page that includes a link to the online Choice Application.

2016 Conservation Poster Contest: We Need Trees

The National Conservation Poster Contest is open to students in grades K-12.  Richland County students should submit their posters to the Richland Soil and Water Conservation District for local judging by April 8, 2016. Important Reminders:

Half-day for All Students — Jan. 14
ThursdayJan. 14, the last day of the first semester, is a half-day for all students. Elementary schools dismiss at 11:30 a.m.; middle schools dismiss at 10:45 a.m.; and high schools dismissal times vary between 12:15-12:20 p.m.
Student Holiday & Teacher Workday — Jan. 15
Friday is a holiday for students and a workday for teachers and employees who work 245 days or more.
District Holiday – Jan. 18                                                                               
Students and employees will be off on Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
