Having fun and wearing red for Jump Rope for Heart. We are trying to reach our goal of $1,000. We are almost there. We will continue to collect money the rest of the week, so send it in and help us reach our goal!

Pajama Celebration
Parents,
Our Pontiac students set a goal to collect 2,500 box tops during the month of February. We synergized and collected almost 3,000 box tops for our PTO! PTO receives 10 cents per box tops and turns that money around to support our school!
As an incentive, we are excited to have a Pajama celebration at school. Students can wear their pajamas to school on Monday, February 26. Thank you for ensuring the pajamas are appropriate.
Your help in collecting box tops this month is appreciated!
This pajama celebration also kicks off Dr. Seuss' birthday week! In honor of Dr. Seuss' The Sleep Book, we will enjoy pajamas at school on Monday!

INTERIM REPORTS
| Interim reports at Pontiac Elementary are accessible from Parent Portal this school year. Interims for the 3rd 9 weeks grading period are available to you from Parent Portal. If you have an active Parent Portal account, you may check your child's grades each week. When you log in to your account, the grades will automatically appear on the screen. There is not a report tab to click in Parent Portal. It is important to monitor your child's progress through Parent Portal before report cards are issued. The 3rd grading period ends on March 26 and the report card will be issued on April 12. You can access Parent Portal at https://parents.richland2. To create a Parent Portal Account: 1. Click Create an Account 2. Complete the top section with your personal information. Write down your Username/Password. 3. Add your child(ren) in the fields below. To add student(s), you will need to enter an Access ID and Access Password. a. Access ID - Student ID number (either 12 or 5 digits). Our school registrar can provide you with your child's student id number if you need to create an account. b. Access Password - Student’s birthday, using 6-digits without dashes or slashes. Valentine's Day Announcement
Parents,
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and we are looking forward to providing our students time to celebrate. We will deliver any items sent to school beginning at 2:00. If an item is sent that is not allowed on the bus, such as balloons, please make arrangements for your child to be a car rider. Parents can also come to school to pick up items not allowed on the bus. We understand what an exciting time this can be for students. Thank you for working with us to make sure your child is able to enjoy the items you send.
